A Very Special Week

And so the week ends with a special dinner at our house with Pappy and Grandma (Paige's great grandparents - Gramp's mommy and daddy) who are down for a visit from Ocala. Paige spent the evening wriggling  between Pappy and Grandma who patiently read every book she brought them.
In other news, Paige spent her first night in her "big girl bed". She spent a large portion of the afternoon organizing her pillows and animals to make sure that everyone important was included. We've got Teddy Bear, Baby, Elmo, Real Bill, Giraffe, Eagle and "soft blanket" right where we need them. It was a little scary at first, but Paige made it through the night unscathed in her "big girl bed". It just took a little extra TLC to tuck her into bed - I have to admit it was pretty special being able to snuggle beside her for a few minutes before she nodded off.

There was also a special request on Saturday for pig tales... she got the idea from her friend Ella who came over last week with a set. Our little girl is starting to show "little girl" tendencies...AHHH!!!
Along with the little girl tendencies that are emerging, Paige is really taking to her baby as of late. She's been making her breakfast, wrapping her in blankets, walking her in the buggy, pretending to get groceries with her and decided to help her take a bath the other night.

Last, but certainly NOT LEAST, Paige was named the "Superstar" of the Month at preschool! She even got to make her very own poster.
A very special week indeed.
