Time flies when you are having fun! Who knew that two years could go by in a blink of an eye. I never really believed my parents when they would start a sentence with "it feels like just yesterday when you...". I think I can officially relate.
Happy SECOND Birthday Paige! Daddy and Mommy love you with all of their hearts.
We celebrated on Saturday by having our family and the Carlson / Crichton Crew over for cupcakes and some fun. Paige has officially mastered the art of opening presents. She was blessed with many gifts (even though we said no gifts) and has been taking the time to enjoy each and every one of them.
Sam in from Canada loving life in Florida!

Not that this really matters, but I'm so happy that I no longer have to count Paige's age in months. Math has never really been my strong point... hee! hee! Anyhow, my point is this, it's always bugged me having to do a month by month count. I know that doesn't sound very "motherly" but that's just the way I feel. Now when people ask how old she is, I can say 2 instead of fumbling to come up with her exact age in months. Perhaps this is just one of the "lack of detail" things that makes Jay bonkers.
I can proudly say that Paige is two and just love every bit about that.
I'm a proud mama because:
1. She's pretty much potty trained (probably shouldn't be the first thing on the list)
2. Loves to get dressed all by herself
3. Will eat pretty much anything
4. Is getting better at being polite (a word she uses) by saying please and thank you
5. Loves her family
6. Loves our dog Roxy and even gives her butterfly kisses
7. She loves to snuggle and would read books forever
8. She loves to color with crayons, build with blocks, play in the dirt, play "soccer" and go on backyard adventures
9. Calls for daddy and mommy to come get her out of her big girl bed in the mornings
10. Every night when Jay comes home from work, she hears the door open and says, "Daddy's home!" and runs to go and see him
We've experienced two years of happiness and joy because of Paige and can't wait to see what year three will bring our way.
