BEFORE EDITING

AFTER EDITING

A friend of mine mentioned picnik.com in one of her posts on Facebook... I know, I know. Anyhow, it's awesome! Free editing and you can add all kinds of cute things to photos. Love it! Now I can make my kiddos look even cuter than they already are. Tee Hee!

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Shopping for anything fun (ie: clothes) has been pretty much eliminated do to my inability to generate any sort of income, but I had a gift card. Ahh... the blessed gift card! Anyhow, I embarked on a trip to the mall for some indoor playground time and after wearing Paige out, I thought I would give The Gap a whirl.

Much to my surprise, Paige was in her glory. Liv on the other hand... no so impressed, I think it had a little something to do with an extra package she was carrying down below (tee hee!). Paige literally leaped from the stroller taking items off the racks. The funniest part was that she would take ten of the exact same item, primarily hot pink tank tops, and put them in the stroller. She came across a very cute East Indian inspired outfit and proclaimed, "This is cute for me to wear mom." I was DONE! It was all the inspiration that I needed to make the purchase official. Seriously folks, who can walk into Baby Gap when there is an amazing sale and then an additional 25% off, gift card in hand and walk out empty handed?

Here are some of Paige's latest ramblings:

"I helped you mommy. Sometimes people help."

"I love my sister. Her name is Liv. Don't pull my hair Liv."

" I want to go back to school."

Paige was pretending to be on vacation in Hawaii with Auntie Krista here...

Wild Animal Caught in Naples

Paige has a fascination with her cousin Wolfie's cage. Whenever we are at Auntie Krista and Uncle Dean's house she will crawl in his cage lie down, close the door, open the door, close the door, get out of the cage... you get the idea. Anyhow, here she is caught in the act! When we were in the car today, Liv was starting to fuss a little, but Paige made sure that she stayed focused and stopped crying with these reassuring words, "It's okay my little sister".
How does she come up with this stuff?

The Storyteller

I often ask Paige to tell me a story, but don't ever get anything out of her. While I pulled some weeds in the garden and she pranced about in her Lady Bug Girl outfit her creative juices started to flow.

"Once upon a time, there was a girl named Paige. She loved her friend Caden and Heidi and Chad. She loved her dad and her mom and her Liv. She liked her ball and her beach ball and her other ball."

A storyteller in the making.
