Finally Some Inspiration

I've been wanting to post something for quite some time now, but haven't been able to come up with anything to say. We've been busy enough, and I'm writing down all the little funnies, but I seem to have misplaced my notes. However, the tides have turned, "Daddio" has a little something to share with us today.

While I was at the gym this evening attempting to complete my 5K run on the treadmill ( can you tell I'm proud of myself??), the following transpired.

From the kitchen Jay hears:

"I have to poop."

" Ok, let's go to the potty."

"No daddy, I have poop."

At this point, dear dad is concerned and heads over to assess the situation.

"Daddy, I have poop on me" in an oddly happy and excited tone.

Jay investigates...

Liv had a massive, up the back blow-out, she and the play mat are coated.

"Daddy, I have poop on my face, it's funny!"

Yep, sure enough she has, while playing and hugging her sister, Paige managed to coat the front of her face in a thin layer of poo. It stretched from the hairline to the chin. The nose, assuming because it protrudes, has a micro nugget stuck to it.

"I have poop on my face, it's stinky, I have poop on my face, it's funny!"

The photo gives a small sample of the mess.

Daddio is going to think twice before bedtime kisses tonight!

WARNING.... PHOTO BELOW IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!!!!

And so, apparently all it takes is a little poop to inspire me to write a little something about our dear Paige.

What A Weekend!

This weekend Paige went on her first weekend getaway with Mema, Gramps and her cousin Blake to Disney World. She had a blast! From what she tells us she met Pooh, Tigger, got to hold Tinkerbelle, met Cinderella and a few other princesses. She rode the merry-go-round, the teacups and an elephant ride.
While Paige was away, the house was a little on the quiet side and we were able to sleep in on Saturday morning for the first time in a very long time (we woke Liv up at 11 o'clock). It's hard to believe what a big girl she is now - having her own "cousin's weekend" without her parental units.
A BIG THANK YOU to Mema and Gramps for taking the kids to Disney. I can only imagine how nice and cool it must have been in the middle of the state! :) Now get some rest!
